The mission of our AAU teams is to develop players and prepare them to play at the next level by participating in tournaments and other skill building activities. We instill a foundation of fundamental skills and work ethic by implementing structured practices with reputable coaches in quality facilities. The following provides an overview of our AAU program.
Traveling teams are for Boys and Girls ages 9-17. Players are evaluated at tryouts and teams will be selected by age; 9u, 10u, 11u, 12u, 13u, 14u, 15u, 16u and 17u (Separate girls’ teams will be created if we have enough players to fill rosters). These players will become accustomed to the system and experience the discipline it takes to be successful. Our professional staff includes active college, high school, and middle school coaches, retired professional players, and other long-time students of the game. The Coaching Victory Staff will implement game strategies, run drills, practices, and push players to reach their maximum potential.
Cost of participation for those invited to join is $450. Payment can be made via PayPal, cash, check, or online. If selected to join, full payment is due with signed player participation form by Monday, March 4th, 2019 (Late payment fee is $50). Optional payment plan includes 2 payments of $250 (Due 3/4 and 3/22). Payment covers personal team warm up gear for each player along with tournament fees, gym usage fees, and uniform usage. Travel/hotel expenses and spectator admission to tournaments are not covered by registration fee. Additional team gear or bags will be paid for by the proceeds of Team Fundraisers. You must participate in Fundraisers to receive additional gear. The first team fundraiser will be a Krispy Kreme Donut Sale. The Coaching Victory program provides uniforms for each event, uniforms are collected after tournaments and at end of season.
The team will practice and play from March through June with at least 6-7 tournaments for each age group. This year’s tentative event schedule is as follows (event schedule subject to change):
Team practices will be held weekday evenings at the Scott Middle School, Rainbow Elementary School, Collegium Charter School, and ACAC Fitness & Wellness Center. A monthly practice schedule will be released based upon gym availability and tournament schedules.
Coaching Victory staff, players, and parents are a family. We work, sweat, travel, win and lose together. Coaches assist other coaches and players support other teams. This family-based structure is something our program takes pride in. When you accept your roster spot you are joining the CV Fam!
